STS9, Amon Tobin, Zeds Dead, Shpongle, EOTO, RJD2, Tipper, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and more round out the lineup for Wakarusa’s late night Interstellar Meltdown. The so-called festival within a festival has been a part of the Wakarusa experience for a few years now, creating a distinct electronic mini-event that extends the party beyond sunrise. In addition to the music, the Interstellar Meltdown also showcases a variety of art installations and live painters. Other artists set to play the wee hours on Mulberry Mountain are Gramatik, Quixotic, Emancipator, GRiZ, The Polish Ambassador, The Floozies, Run DMT, BoomBox and Wick-It The Instigator, among others. The 2013 Wakarusa Music Festival will take place May 30-June 2. Weekend passes to the event are currently on sale for $154.
