The Head & The Heart, Rose Hill Drive and members of Yonder Mountain String Band and more will come together for a benefit concert to restore Boulder, CO’s Nomad Theater. The event—dubbed “Songs for The Nomad: A Benefit for the Nomad Theater”—will take place Saturday, April 6 at Macky Auditorium on CU-Boulder’s campus in Boulder, CO. Tickets to the show are $15 for students and $20 for the general public. Other artists at the event include West Water Outlaws, Reed Foehl, A Beatles Tribute Set featuring Dr. Robert and many surprise guests. Plenty of other musicians wanted to help but could not attend, so there will be a special on-site auction featuring signed memorabilia from Widespread Panic, Michael Franti, Pretty Lights, Bling Pilot Andrew Bird, Ani DiFranco, String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams, Jackie Greene, Josh Ritter and Wood Brothers, among others. The organizers of the benefit hope to raise $20,000 to get the renovation project underway, and you can donate to the fund here.
