Phoenix, Girl Talk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Hot Chip are among the marquee acts slated to appear at the inaugural
The Grove Music Festival.
The single-day boutique music festival will take place on August 3, 2013 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada.

Conceived through a partnership between Coachella promoters Goldenvoice and Canadian label Arts & Crafts, The Grove promises “a diverse, world-class festival adventure inside The Commons At Butler’s Barracks National Historic Site.”

A press release of the festival goes on to say, “Combining elements of larger, multi-day events like Goldenvoice’s world-famous festivals with the feel of smaller, community-based cultural festivals, The Grove places emphasis on themes of discovery, diversity, sustainability and environment. The carefully curated lineup features established global talents alongside progressive voices in the new music space. French indie giants Phoenix and mashup king Girl Talk will share the stage with DIY hip hop sensation Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (only Ontario performance), blue collar rock heroes The Gaslight Anthem, punk veteran Bob Mould, Odd Future standout Earl Sweatshirt, electronic chameleon Pretty Lights, breakout Swedish DJ duo Icona Pop and garage buzz bands Wavves and Palma Violets.:

Founded by Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew, Arts & Crafts is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary.
