The members of Dawes sat in with John Fogerty on Saturday night. The performance took place at Austin, TX’s ACL Live at The Moody Theater as part of the annual SXSW Music Conference. During a set stacked with Creedence Clearwater Revival hits and solo material, the members of Dawes emerged for “Someday Never Comes.”

The group recorded the song with Fogerty for his forthcoming solo album Wrote a Song for Everyone. The album also features appearances by My Morning Jacket, Bob Seger, Zac Brown Band, Foo Fighters, Alan Jackson, Jennifer Hudson, Allen Toussaint, the Rebirth Brass Band and many others. Dawes’ busy SXSW schedule included over 13 shows in less than a week.
