StrangeCreek to Return (without Strangefolk?)

Max Creek, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Donna the Buffalo and Zach Deputy are among the acts confirmed for the annual StrangeCreek festival. The Memorial Day event will return to Greenfield, MA’s Camp Kee-Wanee from May 24-27. Other confirmed acts include Ryan Montbleau Band, Bernie Worrell Orchestra, The Alchemystics, Alan Evans Trio, Marco Benevento, Juggling Suns, Consider the Source, Shake Down, Jimkata and Turkuaz, among others. Ryan Montbleau Band, The Alchemystics and Shake Down will all play two shows during the festival.

One act currently absent from the festival’s bill is Stangefolk, who co-founded the festival with Max Creek. The latter day version of Strangefolk, who traditionally headlined the fest, recently announced their break-up so Jon Trafton and Erik Glockler could focus on the Original Strangefolk reunion. At this time, neither version of Strangefolk have confirmed their appearance at the festival. However, Conehead Buddha, another recently reunited Northeast band, will appear. Jimkata , Turkuaz, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Rev Tor featuring Charles Neville and The McLovins will also all appear.
