Shortly after announcing another round of artist additions, the producers of Tuxedo Ridge, NY’s The Mighty High Mountain Fest have cancelled this year’s festivities.

A note from the festival’s promoters explains:

We regret to inform that this year’s Mighty High Fest is cancelled. The decision was made based on a number of factors outside our control. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this news may bring, and we thank you for your understanding and support of the festival over the years.

Anyone who has purchased a ticket through the website will be fully refunded as promptly as possible.

We hope to see you again…further on down the road

Mighty High Fest has slated to take place from May 17 – 19. The Bernie Worrell Orchestra, Dark Star Orchestra, Max Creek, New Riders of the Purple Sage, David Grisman Quintet, Peter Rowan, George Porter Jr’s Runnin’ Pardners, Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Folkadelicks, Hot Day at the Zoo, Bernie Worrell, Dark Star Orchestra and many others were slated to perform.
