Very exited and hope for more shows. I am so glad he decided to leave the kids at home. Can’t have those face plants of last summer Phil shows with the kids.

This could be a very serious group and a previously unheard direction for this music. Can’t wait for 2 nights at Vibes.

I hear Bob Weir will be opening the Jim Thorpe show – by passing out on top of the audience while his band continues to play and just stare at him.

oh wait – that happened already….

Fake Jerry and Scofield??? too sick I’m glad Phil is leaving his kids off the bill Those kids couldn’t play an open mike if their dad wasnt phil lesh

bobby's oxycotton May 14, 2013, 17:14:25

I agree fake jerry fan Phil’s kids are TURRIBLE those 2 kids should be playing open mikes in east palo alto. CHEMENTI isn’t that good either….....all his solo’s sound the same

Togo May 16, 2013, 15:31:25

CHEMENTI isn’t that good either” WTF??? The man has mad skills. You may not like him but that doesnt mean he isnt very talented.

ROSCOE May 16, 2013, 16:59:54

Hey Phil, come down to Tampa and Play with Bob Dylan just like late 90’s in Worcester! You both played Not Fade Away that night!!!!

mb May 16, 2013, 21:40:04

Chementi is awesome. You wonder what people are hearing sometimes. I like to imagine what the Dead would have sounded like with someone like him rather than Brent and Vince. Unfortunately, a requirement at the time was that you had to be able to sing harmony. They overlooked several great players as a result. C’est la vie!

Love Scofield and Chimenti. I may have to do P&F instead of Further. $80 after service charges is too expensive to do much more than 1 or 2.

Kevin Collins May 18, 2013, 13:13:52

the best Phil + friends lineup yet!

DIck May 19, 2013, 23:38:07

Russo, Scofield, and Medeski would make for a killer trio! Too bad they will be bogged down in poorly sung Dead songs.

BRUNO DIGGS June 3, 2013, 05:20:15
