Bob Marley’s classic album Legend is being reimagined by a number of modern artists for the upcoming compilation Legend Remixed. The remix album is set for release June 25 on CD, LP and digital download. Fifteen of the album’s 16 tracks will be covered and remixed by folks like Pretty Lights, Jim James, Thievery Corporation, Beats Antique, Jason Bentley and Z-Trip with Lee “Scratch” Perry, as well as Marley’s sons Ziggy and Stephen. A trailer for the album can be viewed above and Stephen Marley’s remix of “Three Little Birds” can be downloaded here.

Legend was originally released in 1984—three years after Marley’s death—and is a collection of the performer’s greatest hits. It is also the best-selling reggae album of all time.
