Gov’t Mule have revealed the dates for their fall tour. The band will get started on September 5 with a performance at the Interlocken Festival in Arrington, VA, where Warren Haynes Band will also be performing on the same day. Next, Gov’t Mule will make their way to the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival in Fredericton, New Brunswick before hitting various theaters east of the Mississippi River, including the Best Buy Theater in New York City, The Tabernacle in Atlanta and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Gov’t Mule will also perform at Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ Grand Point North Festival in Burlington, VT on September 15. Their tour will finally wrap up with two-night run at Chicago’s Vic Theatre on October 4 and 5. Tickets to the shows will be available shortly.

In addition to going on tour, Gov’t Mule will also be releasing their new album Shout! on September 24 via Blue Note Records. As previously reported, the album will include a bonus disc with special guest vocalists like Elvis Costello, Dr. John, Ben Harper, Toots Hibbert, Jim James, Dave Matthews, Grace Potter and Steve Winwood providing their own interpretations of songs from the new album. Shout! is currently available for preorder.
