The North Mississippi Allstars Duo performed at Phil Lesh’s San Rafael, CA club Terrapin Crossroads on Saturday night. Two of the venue’s official hosts, Grahame Lesh and Phil Lesh, played with the Duo throughout the night.

As Deadhead Land reports, the bassist joined The North Mississippi Allstars Duo for a number of songs, including “Cold Rain and Snow,” a jam based around The Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood” and “I Know You Rider.” In addition, guitarist Anders Osborne, who has toured with North Mississippi Allstars’ Luther Dickinson recently and been part of a version of Phil & Friends that featured the NMA guitarist, joined the Duo and the Leshes for “Fire on the Mountain.”

Phil Lesh also appeared on the blues classic “Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning” and “Mystery Train,” among others, as well as an encore of Bob Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower” and “Turn on Your Lovelight” that also featured Osborne.

The North Mississippi Allstars Duo will perform at Healdsburg, CA’s Tuesday’s in the Plaza tomorrow.
