John Scofield has announced a fall tour with his Uberjam Band. Scofield’s band on this outing will include bassist Andy Hess, guitarist Avi Bortnick and percussionist Tony Mason. The North American dates will begin on September 1 at the Detroit International Jazz Fest and will include several more stops in the Midwest that month before the Uberjam Band moves towards the East Coast.

On September 20, the Uberjam band will co-headline a show with Lettuce at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. Lettuce’s drummer Adam Deitch has toured with the Uberjam Band in the past but will not be joining them this fall. Scofield will also bring the group to the West Coast in October, before his last American date at The Blockley in Philadelphia on October 25.

Before the Philadelphia date, John Scofield’s Uberjam Band will leave the U.S. for dates in China and Japan, and the band will tour extensively throughout Europe in November. A complete list of Scofield’s North American tour dates can be found below.
