Multi-instrumentalist David Bromberg has announced a new album Only Slightly Mad, due out September 24 from Appleseed Records. Accompanying the album’s release is a nation spanning tour that kicks off the State Room in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 13 and ends at Randy Wood Guitars in Bloomingdale, Ga. on December 14. Highlights of the tour will include a special performance at the American Music Conference in Nashville, Tenn., seven solo dates and one show with Larry Campbell.

The album seeks to showcase Bromberg’s persona as an Americana virtuoso, while displaying his roots in blues, gospel and Dixieland. His touring band is comprised of Mark Cosgrove (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Butch Amiot (bass, vocals), Nate Grower (fiddle, mandolin) and Josh Kanusky (drums).
