On Tuesday night, Dave Matthews Band returned to West Valley City, UT’s USANA Amphitheatre for the first time since 2010. During the band’s set, Willie Nelson’s longtime harmonica player Mickey Raphael, who has family ties to Utah, sat in on “Grace is Gone.” Though the harmonica ace has sat in with DMB many times over the past 12 years, this is the first time since 2009 he has joined the band onstage. Raphael will cross paths with Matthews and DMB guitarist Tim Reynolds again on September 21 during the annual Farm Aid benefit. This year’s festivities will take place at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center. DMB will perform at George, WA’s The Gorge this evening.
