Boyd Tinsley joined Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers last night at The Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO. The Dave Matthews Band violinist—who was scheduled to appear during the show—sat in with the band toward the end of their set for “Little Too Late,” the lead single off the groups self-titled LP, as well as the classic “Long Black Veil.” Tinsley then returned with Rayland Baxter, who played the night’s opening slot, to close out the set with a cover of Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon.”

Tinsley, who was in town promoting his film Face in the Mirror, also stuck around after the show to meet with fans.

Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers have been touring pretty extensively in the past year or so, and their debut album finally became available last month. You can check out a review of Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers here.
