Disco Biscuits Announce New Year’s Eve Run

The Disco Biscuits will return to The Best Buy Theater and The Theater at Madison Square Garden for their upcoming New Year’s Eve run. The band will play four nights at Best Buy December 26-29 before finally ringing in the New Year at The Theater on December 31.

The Disco Biscuits first two shows on the 26th and 27th will begin at 8pm, while the shows on the 28th, 29th and 31st will begin at 11pm—essentially making them Phish after shows. The band performed at the same venues on the same nights for their 2012 New Year’s Eve run.

Fans will be able to purchase five-night passes for the run this Tuesday at noon via the Disco Biscuits’ website, while general admission tickets will be available this Friday at noon through Ticketmaster.

Come on. Be a legit news outlet. It clearly lists the 28/29 starting at 11pm with the other two best buy shows starting at 8. There is your clear understanding they are late night shows. You guys have gotten so lazy

Brownstain and Babsy need money for the habits and the new year and new fubu gear for the kids if Walmart does layaway for FUBU and flatbrimmed hats with attached pacifiers. The show I recently saw in Baltimore was fun, if you liked to hear a 2000 TDB show played absolutely terribly like guys who have never practiced before. I’m pretty sure Brownstain was outside the show afterwards asking people to give him money for a fake Kickstarter campaign for a fake project involving field mice, a tin can, a boofing plate and a pile of gun powder. I guess it’s a thing for people admitted to UPenn secretly with sub 80 IQ levels. He and Babsy were part of a test trial to see if you brought a knuckle dragging drug addled person from caveman type intelligence could UPenn turn them into normal people who can work at a Nathan’s. Seriously if you are in earshot of the stain these days and hear him not begging for money for some fake or poorly timed project you haven’t been around him in 10 years. Since Consider it Dushe left as the main manager how many shows have they played? 9 maybe? Better have a chair ready as we all know Babsy nodded into a broken arm back before the VA latenights on Phish’s new years run when they came back from hiatus number one. When does Tom Hamilton start? How many people OD’d at city bisco?

At this point why on earth would you go see these guys? They are basically telling any fan, we are going to rip you off on the holiday runs and festy gigs so we can slide by without working any real jobs and Marcy Mark can pretend to be in a real bar band, Conspirator, not this glorified bar band crap like the biscuits. The only tickets they should sell will be to people who need a place to settle down after Phish before driving back to Long Island. They would be lucky if the EDM people aren’t on them.

City Bisco was pretty dank. Lot’s of really cool peeps and lots cooler than Umphrey’s at the Mann without all that LGBT stuff they bring along. Don’t get me wrong my sister is gay, but when guys continually were grabbing my butt an privates at the show saying “See you at NYE Jimmy Stewart your a cutey” for example it is tough to enjoy the show. We all know that’s a focus of the Umphrey’s fanbase and marketing, and in fact my sister is going to their show in Denver because of the rainbow scene. I am gonna try to score freebies to the MSG theatre show. Those will be easy tickets to score. Can someone tell me who is in the band this run? I would imagine Jonny can’t do four or five nights without a break. He looked like Jerry circa 1985 at City Bgock! Is Tom Hamilton waiting in the wings? Maybe Machetti from Raq? You have to think they will give him a night or two off for him to recoup during the run.

There is no way Bosco would even have a NYE show with more than 8 people at It at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philly, if they couldn’t leach off the Phish shows. There were 500 people in Baltimore. I am a huge fan and like these retirement eagles style setlist shows they are having 2 or 3 times a year, bur they should really stick to bars and a small theatre for NYE . Mayan Holidaze equals 7.9.95 for Allen and crew.
