Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio along with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Captain Kirk Douglas of The Roots and former Saturday Night Live bandleader G.E. Smith are among the celebrities slated to join over 150 guitarists in a massive six-string symphony benefitting music education programs. The second annual Guitar Mash Benefit Concert will be held on November 17 at Manhattan’s City Winery. Guitar Mash is a nonprofit initiative and all proceeds will go towards supporting music in education programs including Church Street School for Music and Arts and Little Kids Rock.

Mark Stewart, Paul Simon’s longtime guitarist, will serve as director for the event. Tickets are available now via the Guitar Mash website.
