The String Cheese Incident got some help from a few special guests as they closed out their first-ever Suwannee Hulaween festival on Saturday night. The band was by joined by STS9’s Jeffrey Lerner and Toubab Krewe’s Luke Quaranta at the end of their first set, when the two percussionists took the stage with their SCI counterparts Jason Hann and Michael Travis for a very interesting “Colliding” jam that turned into “Drums” segment. Trey Anastasio Band horn players Jennifer Hartswick and Natalie Cressman also sat in with the group for a take on The Jackson’s “Shake Your Body To The Ground” during the second set.

Saturday night also featured plenty of other stellar artists, with sets forms STS9, Leftover Salmon, Emancipator, Eliot Lipp and many more. It was a fitting end for the inaugural event, which featured seven sets of the String Cheese Incident (including a especially wild, cover-filled Halloween set), as well as performances by Steve Kimock & Friends, Future Rock, The Main Squeeze, Larry & Jenny Keel, Van Ghost, Brock Butler and Moon Taxi, among others.
