John Lennon’s life-changing voyage to Bermuda in 1980 inspired many of the tracks on the legend’s iconic Double Fantasy album. Now fans can immerse themselves in that trip with a new interactive app, available on iTunes for $4.99.

Directed by filmmaker Michael Epstein, the app will allow users to experience special features – such as an interactive journey to Bermuda – that will help tell the story of the late-Beatle’s final trip in his lifetime.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the app will benefit WhyHunger’s “Imagine There’s No Hunger” campaign. In a statement, Yoko Ono commented, “I think the album app captures the sense of discovery and the artistic dialogue that John and I shared at that time and provides a new way to help us imagine a world without hunger.”

Imagine There’s No Hunger is a non-profit organization that aims to fight child hunger and poverty through grassroots solutions that secure basic rights to food, water and land in 22 countries worldwide.
