Widespread Panic got some help from Band of Horses’ Ryan Monroe last night during their show at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston. The keyboardist took the stage for a take on “Arleen” during the night’s second set—his third sit in with the band. Monroe previously joined Panic for “Ride Me High” and “Vampire Blues” in Raleigh, NC on April 23 and 24, 2010. Before joining Band of Horses, Monroe played in a few jambands in the Southeast. The members of Panic are big Band of Horses fans and have brought the indie-Americana act out as an opener a few times.
