Billy Joel will return to Madison Square Garden on January 27 for his first full show at MSG since The Piano Man played twelve nights there in 2006. Joel’s last full NYC gig came in 2008 when he played the final concert at Shea Stadium, although he also appeared at the 12/12/12 Concert for Sandy Relief for a short set.

Today, Joel announced via Facebook that he will play a second show at Madison Square Garden on February 3. Pre-sale for Citi cardmembers is available now through November 22. Public on-sale for both shows begin November 23 via Ticketmaster.

These MSG shows come after a previously announced New Year’s Eve gig at Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center as well as four shows in Florida before the MSG run.

UPDATE: Due to overwhelming demand, Billy Joel has added a third show at Madison Square Garden. Scheduled for March 21, tickets will go on-sale November 22 via Citi Presale. General public on sale will take place November 23 via Ticketmaster. British singer/songwriter Tom Odell will provide support for the MSG shows.
