Phil Lesh Celebrates Hanukkah at Terrapin Crossroads

Photo: Marc Millman

Phil Lesh presented the Terrapin Nation Hanukkah Celebration at his Terrapin Crossroads on Wednesday night in San Rafael, CA. The evening began shortly after sunset with the Hanukkah blessings led by Ross James and Jeannette Ferber, with select English readings by Lesh. After dinner in the restaurant, Lesh took the stage with the Terrapin Family Band for a show in the bar. Flanked by Ross James, Alex Koford and son Grahame, the group moved through a short set that featured “Mountains of the Moon,” “Unbroken Chain” and “Franklins Tower.”

Following the short set, Lesh thanked the crowd and exited the stage, giving way to Scott Padden on the bass. The Terrapin Family Band then played a more extended set without Lesh.

Thank you, my friend plays in dead cover band where 4 out of 5 members are in the Tribe. I came up with it a few years back.
