Members of Conspirator and Dopapod Sit in with Kung Fu

Dopapod and Kung Fu played interlocking sets at New York’s BB Kings Blues Club on Sunday night. In addition to their rotating sets, a few guests sat in with Kung Fu during the late-night show.

Conspirator/RAQ guitarist Chris Michetti, who performed with Conspirator at New York’s Stage 48 last night, took the stage for the Kung Fu original “Scrabb.” (The funk-fusion group features RAQ keyboardist Todd Stoops.) Later in the night, the members of Dopapod returned to the stage for a take on “I’m the Slime” near the end of the show.

Kung Fu will close 2013 at Fairfield, CT’s StageOne this evening. The Heavy Pets and Bobby Paltauf Band are also on the bill. Meanwhile, Dopapod will celebrate New Year’s Eve at Worcester, MA’s The Palladium.
