Particle Welcome New Bassist and a Biscuit in New York

Particle played an after-Phish show at New York’s recently relocated Cutting Room on December 30. It was one of Particle’s final shows with founding members Darren Pujalet (drums) and Eric Gould (bass), both of whom will move on from the livetronica act in 2014 to focus on their families.

Fans got a sneak peak at Particle’s new lineup when Brothers Past/BioDiesel’s Clay Parnell, the group’s new bassist, sat in on
“Metropolis.” Disco Biscuits drummer Allen Aucoin, who was in the area for the Biscuits’ multi-night run, also emerged for “Triple Threat.”

Particle’s other new addition is drummer Brandon Draper, who is best known for his work with Quixotic. The new Particle will kick off their 2014 tour with a show in Fairfield, CT on February 1.

Particle followed ted damsons sons band at the mint on picio blvd in LA 15 years or WG
Hat ever ago. They blew the room away , had a strobe light and tapestry. The regular folks were horrified when people danced psychedelic on the chairs and left in droves leaving the band and a few dozen left, then they made them shut down. Particle – I hope they make a come back – fun crew.
