Eric Clapton, Phish, Arcade Fire, The String Cheese Incident, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Santana, The Avett Brothers, Vampire Weekend, Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters, Alabama Shakes, Aaron Neville, North Mississippi Allstars, Chick Corea and the Vigil, Boz Scaggs, John Fogerty, Keb’ Mo’, Bobby Womack, Johnny Winter, Sonny Landreth and many more will perform at the 2014 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The event is set to take place April 25-27 and May 1-4. This is Phish’s first JazzFest performance since 1996, and the Vermont Quartet’s first New Orleans appearance since 1999.

In addition to the above artists, the 2014 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will also include sets from a number of stellar local acts such as a very special Dumpstaphunk performance featuring frontman Ivan Neville’s uncle (and The Meters keyboardist) Art Neville, as well as a rare reunion set from The Radiators. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Galactic, The Rebirth Brass Band, Anders Osborne, Allen Toussaint, Tab Benoit, Jon Batiste, Irma Thomas, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Terrance Blanchard, Kermit Ruffins and The Barbecue Swingers, Irvin Mayfield & The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, various Mardi Gras Indian tribes and many more will be there as well.

As has been the case for many years, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will once again take place at the Fair Grounds Race Track in Mid-City. Countless late-night shows and parties will also take place around New Orleans while the festival is in town. Most of those after-shows have not yet been announced, though moe. have already confirmed gigs at the Civic Theatre for April 25 and 26.

Single day and VIP tickets to Jazz Fest are now on sale and the event’s daily lineups can be found here.
