Steve Molitz sat in with Robby Krieger’s Kitchen Jam on Friday, January 24 during the National Association of Music Merchants convention in Anaheim, CA. The Particle keyboardist joined them for a number of The Doors tunes, including “Touch Me,” “Roadhouse Blues,” “Riders On The Storm” and “Back Door Man.”

It wasn’t the first time that Krieger and Molitz have collaborated. The two played together in The Roadhouse Rebels, a side-project that featured Oinogo/Boingo/Mutaytor’s John Avila and, at one point, The Black Crowes’ Rich Robinson and drummer Joe Magistro.

Molitz will recently kicked off a tour with a new lineup. The band will perform at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Putnam Den tonight before making their way across the country.
