The producers of Midnight Rider: The Gregg Allman Story are looking for extras for the film, which will be based on Allman’s autobiography, My Cross to Bear. Belle Casting has put out a casting call for peoples of “all types & ages.” Pre-1970’s vehicles are also needed for the production.

The casting call will take place on Saturday, February 15 from 10am-4pm and Sunday, February 16 from 12pm-4pm at Meddin Studios in Savannah, GA. More information on the casting call can be found here.

As previously reported, actor William Hurt has already signed on to play an older Gregg Allman in the upcoming biopic, while All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter will play a younger version of the musician. In addition, Wyatt Russell will portray his brother, the late Duane Allman. The film, which begins shooting soon, will be directed by Randall Miller.
