The inaugural Magisto Exhibit will take place today at SXSW in Austin, TX and will featured photos from rock music photographer Jay Blakesberg. Throughout the exhibit, excerpts from Blakesberg’s new book JAM, which features photos of My Morning Jacket, Jane’s Addiction, Wilco, the Grateful Dead and many more, will be compiled into short movies (like the one above) using the Magisto program.

Reid Genauer, CMO of Magisto and member of Strangefolk and Assembly of Dust said, “Video, photography and music have long been classic and celebrated art forms, but Magisto set out to see what happens when they’re combined with artificial intelligence to bring stories to life in a new way.”

The Jay Blakesberg Exhibit will be first shown during the SXSW Music Festival at a temporary installation today from 2-5:30 P.M. at Lucille on Rainey Street. You can watch all videos and get a better feel for the Magisto software through the JAM page
