On Friday night, Billy Joel continued his Madison Square Garden residency as the famed arena’s fourth franchise. Among the highlights included the debut performance of 1982’s “Surprises” as well as several covers such as The Beatles’ “A Hard Days Night” and Elton John’s “Your Song.”

Towards the end of the set, AC/DC’s Brian Johnson joined the piano rock legend for a cover of “You Shook Me All Night Long,” marking the duo’s first collaboration in over a decade. Opener Gavin DeGraw also shared this Instagram post of him with Johnson backstage prior to the show.

Joel will return to the Garden on April 18 but will also perform in Cleveland, Louisville and St. Louis at the beginning of April.
