Phish have been given a rare three-hour slot for their performance at this year’s New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (the longest of any act on this year’s lineup). The jam icons will get started on the festival’s massive Acura Stage at 4pm on Saturday, April 26 before wrapping up at 7pm, when the festival comes to a close for the day. There’s no word yet on whether or not they will play multiple sets, but it seems like a safe bet given their lengthy slot. Unfortunately, their show will conflict with Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, who will be on the Samsung Galaxy Stage from 5:30 to 7pm.

Phish made their first-and-only appearance at Jazz Fest on April 26, 1996 (exactly 18 years prior to their upcoming show), and they last took the stage in the Crescent City on September 26, 1999, when they played UNO’s Lakefront Arena. The band did not get as big a billing during their last Jazz Fest appearance, as their show consisted of a single set.
