Down on the Bayou V, slated to take place on May 1 at The Republic in New Orleans, will feature a variety of performances by the many musicians scheduled to attend. Joining house band New Orleans Suspects will be the likes of Jojo Hermann, Col. Bruce Hampton, Ed Volker, John Gros, John Mooney, Uganda Roberts, Papa Mali, Christine Ohlman, Bonerama, The Missing Cats, Dave Pomerleau, Africa Brass, Bill Nershi and Doug Belote.

Recently added to the lineup were Little Feat’s Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett who will perform classic Feat tunes “Spanish Moon” and “Skin It Back” with the New Orleans Suspects. Col. Bruce will pay tribute to Howlin’ Wolf during the show and Ed Volker will bring some of The Radiators’ classics to the stage with Jojo and the Suspects.

In addition, John Mooney and Alfred “Uganda” Roberts will debut material from the brand new Mooney album Sun and Moon also backed by Jojo and the Suspects.

The show will also serve as a benefit for the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and all sales after minimal expenses will go directly to the clinic.
