How is this a solo tour? He’s playing with a band. If he was still in YMSB and was playing a few shows by himself, that would be a solo tour. I just think the rest of YMSB got tired of his constant bantering.

Wow!! Killing it with your solo stuff, Jeff…. Danny Barnes and Keller “the most obnoxious toolbag in the scene” Williams?!!!!! Sure to be a barn-burner!!! Hope you can at least get an opening slot for the three actually good musicians you left behind in the awesome band you co-founded before you lodged your head in your ass and thought you could do better on your own…. Have fun k-flubbing with the k dub….. Way to reinvent yourself, Snoop Austin

I don’t get what Thorin and Martin are thinking. Both play with Matt Flinner. Their album, Music De Jour was chambergrass; Flinner being a stunning mandolinist and composer. No offense to Austin, but he doesn’t hold a candle to Flinner. I guess its about gigs though.

Keller is a considerably better dude than Mr Austin if you knew them. Kellesr stage antics are a bit much but the dude is literally one of the coolest people out there. Captain White Flash is lucky to have guys like Ross let alone Keller playing with him. He knows that. It doesn’t take a fool to realize if he doesn’t take hold of this solo stuff he will be playing mando outside Cervantes next time Greensky Bluegrass plays there.

Enough of the hate! Yeah it sucks he left yonder but they didn’t get along and the music suffered because of it. Yonder will have their pick of any bluegrass musician they want to replace him! Things were getting stale and poppy anyway better to part ways and let these guys be happier with their new projects. Yonder will continue and will always be bigger then anything jeff does on his own. He knows that and doesn’t care he would rather be happy and play with people he can get along with. If the addiction rumors are true and the rest of yonder has sobered up then it’s better to not have him around anyway. Nothing is worse then recovering addicts being forced to be around someone who still uses.

You people are jaded. Jeff Austin can do what he wants with whatever band he wants. Most of these responses to this article are completely ridiculous.
