As previously reported, Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden will embark on a joint tour beginning in July with a date at the Pemberton Music Festival. The groups recently confirmed additional dates on that run including a second show at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on July 22 as well as three additional shows out West at the end of their tour in Sacramento, Portland and Soundgarden’s hometown—Seattle.

Soundgarden is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 1994 hit Superunknown, the album that beat NIN’s The Downward Spiral to the top of the charts that year, signaling the beginning of a rivalry between the two bands. Currently, Nine Inch Nails are prepping for a lengthy European tour behind Hesitation Marks, where the group will feature a more stripped down arrangement.
