Jerry Douglas and John Frazier to Join Yonder at Summer Camp

Yonder Mountain String Band have confirmed their special guests for this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival. The bluegrass trio will be joined by John Frazier (mandolin, fiddle) and Jerry Douglas (dobro) for their set at the event.

As previously reported, longtime Yonder Mountain String Band frontman Jeff Austin abruptly announced his departure from the group last month. The band has since revealed that they will be playing with a variety of special guests for the remainder of the year, before settling on a more permanent lineup. Austin, on the other hand, will be focusing on his solo endeavors.

This year’s Summer Camp Music Festival will take place May 23-25 in Chillicothe, IL. The event will feature performances by moe., Umphrey’s McGee, Zac Brown Band, Bassnectar, Trey Anastasio Band, Primus, Slightly Stoopid and more.

John Frazier, yeah, that’s a household name…LOL. Jerry Douglas has chops but as far as performing it’s like watching paint dry.
