Tony Iommi has suggested that Black Sabbath’s upcoming July 4 show at London’s Hyde Park may be the band’s last. The guitarist told Metal Hammer that group’s headlining performance at the British Summer Time Festival “could be the last ever Sabbath show…I don’t want it to be, but there’s nothing really planned touring-wise after that show, so for all we know that could be it really. To be honest I don’t want to be touring to this extent too much longer, because it makes me feel so bad.”

Iommi was diagnosed with lymphoma in January of 2012, and he wrapped up his treatment in March. The guitarist is now waiting for an update from his doctors.

As previously reported, Black Sabbath are currently on the road in support of their new album, 13. The LP is the band’s first since 1995, and their first studio release to feature Osbourne since 1978’s Never Say Die!.
