Billy Iuso & The Restless Natives bassist Thomas McDonald is parting ways with the band after 10 years. For the time being, McDonald will be replaced by Andrew Elmo Price. BIRN has also revealed that keyboardist Mike Burkhart will not be joining the band for their upcoming two-night run at the Dunedin Brewery in Dunedin, FL due to other commitments.

In related news, Iuso has launched a GoFundMe campaign for his next album. The New Orleans guitarist will team up with Grammy Award-winning producer Tracy Freeman (Harry Connick Jr., Rebirth Brass Band) for the record, which will also feature a guest appearances from George Porter Jr and a number of other musicians. Those that donate can receive an assortment of goodies, including a signed copy of the CD, a solo Skype Concert, their name on Iuso’s guest list for a year and more.
