B.B. King has cancelled the remaining eight shows on his tour after reportedly falling on stage in Chicago on Friday night. King “fell ill,” according to a statement on his website, and was evaluated by a doctor who diagnosed him with dehydration and exhaustion. No further update on his condition is available at this time.

The 89-year old was slated to perform in Fort Wayne, IN, Charleston, Torrington, Rutland, Montclair, New York and Munhall. The New York shows were scheduled to take place at the Times Square club bearing his name.

Mr. King fell ill last night, Oct 3 2014 during his performance at the House of Blues in Chicago. He was immediately evaluated by a doctor and diagnosed with dehydration and suffering from exhaustion whereby causing the eight remaining shows of his current tour to be cancelled.
