Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy and son Spencer will join the ensemble at the Mavis Staples tribute show along with Keb’ Mo’, Joan Osborne and Emmylou Harris. The five additions will join previously announced musicians Gregg Allman, Dr. John, Widespread Panic, Grace Potter, Patty Griffin, Eric Church, Taj Mahal and more.

The elder Tweedy produced Staples’ latest album One True Vine as well as her 2010 effort You Are Not Alone. Tweedy and son Spencer played on the 2013 release which featured a cover of Funkadelic’s “Can You Get to That.”

I’ll Take You There—Celebrating 75 Years of Mavis Staples is slated to take place November 19 at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. Staples will also perform on that night.
