Tool guitarist Adam Jones shared the following update (via Consequence of Sound) from the studio, offering up the first visual confirmation of the band’s follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days. The caption to the picture says “smoke on the horizon.”
Several rumors surfaced earlier in the year when Jones joked that the album was “100% done.” Frontman Maynard James Keenan quickly corrected the report, saying that the guitarist was just kidding. A more recent report from the band’s webmaster confirmed that the album was “progressing rather nicely.”
