Widespread Panic’s Halloween run continued last night in Broomfield, CO as the band kept up the theme of busting out and debuting certain covers throughout the show.

On this night, the band would dig into their first cover of Joe Cocker’s “High Time We Went” towards the end of the second set and, to close the show, busted out The Ramones classic “I Wanna Be Sedated.” The song, played for the first time since 7/27/2005, was paired up with JJ Cale’s “Travelin’ Light” in the encore.

Additional highlights included a pair of nods to fellow jamband centerpieces as Panic inserted snippets of the Allman Brothers’ “Jessica” during “Pleas” in the second set. The “Stop Go” that followed also contained a nod to the Grateful Dead with a “Fire on the Mountain” jam.

Widespread Panic returns to the stage tonight to close out their fall tour in Broomfield, CO.
