The Rolling Stones treated fans in Perth, Australia to a bust out of the Exile on Main Street classic “Loving Cup” on Saturday night at the Perth Arena. The song, which the band played on just 21 occasions between 1969 and 2006, finally returned for the first time in 8 years after a quick introduction by Mick Jagger (for some perspective, Phish has played the song 119 times since 1993). Karl Denson, who is filling in for saxophonist Bobby Keys on the current Australia/New Zealand run, participated in the performance as part of The Stones’ horn section.

The Rolling Stones will continue their tour on Wednesday night with a performance at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.
