The String Cheese Incident were joined by a few special guests during the Saturday night show at their Suwannee Hulaween festival in Live Oak, FL. Steep Canyon Rangers fiddler Nicky Sanders was the first to sit in with the group when he took the stage for “Don’t It Make You Wanna Dance” in the middle of set one before Keller Williams joined them for “Resume Man.” The two guests then reappeared at the end of the set for a take on Williams’ own “Alligator Alley” (a reference to the festival’s swampy Florida setting) and the Grateful Dead’s “Franklin’s Tower.” Big Gigantic saxophonist Dominic Lalli also took the stage for Weather Report’s “Birdland” during the second set.

In related news, the String Cheese Incident treated fans to another big show on Friday night, when they pulled all the stops for a theatrical, cover-filled three set performance based around the theme “afterlife.”
