As Bono recovers from a bike accident suffered on November 16 in Central Park, the band will enlist Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay’s Chris Martin for a performance tonight in New York’s Times Square as a part of World AIDS Day. The performance will be dubbed “U2 Minus One” while the singer remains sidelined at the request of his doctors.

The World AIDS Day event in Times Square will begin at 7:30 PM tonight and will also feature performances from Kanye West and Carrie Underwood. The show will be streamed on YouTube as well as radio across the US and select footage will be broadcast during ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown featuring the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.
