James Murphy made a surprise appearance during this past Sunday’s DFA Records Winter Warmup party at the Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn. The DFA Records founder hopped on stage around 12:30am to spin alongside his former LCD Soundsystem bandmateNancy Whang. Their set included George Benson’s live version of “On Broadway.”

Another core LCD Soundsystem member, Pat Mahoney, was also on the bill playing a DJ set with his new project Museum of Love.  Johnny Hostile & Jehnny Beth, Gavin Russom, The Juan Maclean (DJ), Sinkane (DJ) and other DFA artists also played throughout the venue’s two performance spaces.
