Mumford & Sons will return with Wilder Mind, their follow-up to 2012’s Babel, on May 5 via Universal Music. The 12-track effort is available for pre-order via iTunes. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the band explained their decision to go with a more electric sound and revealed that they’re hired a drummer for their live shows this year.

The band will also revive their Gentlemen of the Road series with stopovers in Seaside Heights, NJ on June 5-6. At those shows the band will be joined by The Flaming Lips, Alabama Shakes, The Vaccines, The Maccabees, Dawes, the Very Best, Jenny Lewis, Little May, JEFF The Brotherhood and Blake Mills.

On June 19-20, the band will take over Waverly, Iowa with the Lips, My Morning Jacket, Dawes, Jenny Lewis, the Maccabees, The Very Best, Rubblebucket, JEFF the Brotherhood and Blake Mills. July 31-August 1 will see the group go overseas to Aviemore, Scotland with Ben Howard, the Maccabees, Jack Garratt and Honeyblood.

Mumford & Sons will return to the stages August 14-15 in Walla Walla, Washington where they will be joined by Foo Fighters, Flaming Lips, the Vaccines, Dawes, Jenny Lewis, tUnE-yArDs, James Vincent McMorrow, JEFF the Brotherhood and Blake Mills.

The final GOTR stopover will take place August 21-22 in Salida, CO with performances from Flaming Lips, Dawes, Jenny Lewis, the Vaccines, tUnE-yArDs, James Vincent McMorrow, JEFF the Brotherhood and Blake Mills.
