Modest Mouse plan to release a follow-up to their new album Strangers to Ourselves very soon. Stereogum reports that Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock told HMV, “I’m pretty far along with the next one as it is…I went in to making this one with two records in mind…It’ll be released as quickly as it’s legally allowed to be. It’s a partner to this one.”

As previously reported, Strangers to Oursevles is set for release on Tuesday, March 17. The LP marks Modest Mouse’s first album since 2007’s We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank. You can read the Modest Mouse feature from the current issue of Relix here.
