A number of pre and post shows have been announced for Chicago over the fourth of July weekend that will see the highly anticipated Fare Thee Well shows take place at Soldier Field. Dubbed “The Music Never Stopped,” the shows will all take place at a series of venues around the city.

On July 2, Thievery Corporation will hit the stage at the Aragon Ballroom while Gene Ween Band will play the Concord Music Hall and the High Steppin’ Into Town show will take place at the Chicago Theatre featuring Greensky Bluegrass, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass and The Infamous Stringdusters.

The following day, July 3, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will play Concord and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros will play Thalia Hall. The fourth of July holiday will feature Railroad Earth at Concord Hall and another Edward Sharpe show at Thalia Hall.

The weekend will close with a Fiyawrapper All Star Jam at Concord Music Hall featuring Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, James Casey, Oteil Burbridge, Eric Krasno, David Shaw, Jeremy Salken, Sput Searight, and Borham Lee with special guests The Main Squeeze.
