Kung Fu and Twiddle teamed up for a tribute to B.B. King during the Jam On The River pre-party at Philadelphia’s Theater of the Living Arts on Friday night. The two bands—who are currently in the midst of a co-headlining tour—spent much of the show jamming together, including an early segment that saw dueling drummers slowly give way to dueling bassists, keyboardists and guitarists. The King tribute then came at the end of Twiddle’s show-closing set, when the two groups joined forces for a cover of “Thrill Is Gone.”
