Former North Mississippi Allstar member Duwayne Burnside is reportedly wanted after he ran from a traffic stop deep into the Marshall County woods on Thursday afternoon, according to Mississippi’s the Clarion Ledger.

Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson said that Burnside is wanted on a warrant for failure to pay child support. A Marshall County Narcotics officer tried to pull Burnside over, but the musician continued to drive and ultimately fled on foot into the woods. A manhunt is currently ongoing.

Burnside is one of 14 children of legendary Mississippi musician R.L. Burnside. Over the years, he has collaborated with the likes of Albert King, B.B. King, Jimmy King and has also fronted Duwayne Burnside & the Mississippi Mafia.
