The Beatles’ first record contract will go up for auction via Heritage Auctions in New York next month. Signed in 1961 by Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and then-drummer Pete Best, the contract came when the quartet served as Tony Sheridan’s backing band for the single “My Bonnie.”

The expected sale of the contract is $150,000 and, according to the Associated Press, is being sold by the estate of German graphic designer Uwe Blaschke. The contract also states that the group was paid $80 for the single.

“Not many people know that the Beatles started their careers in Germany,” Beatles expert Ulf Kruger told The AP. “The Beatles had their longest stint in a club in Hamburg at the Top Ten Club. They played there three months in a row, every night. The style they invented in Liverpool, they cultivated in Hamburg.”

Other Beatles-related items up for sale in the auction include an autographed “Love Me Do” single as well as posters and other items.
