As reported by NME, Radiohead drummer Philip Selway has confirmed his earlier statement that the band would be in the studio starting in September to work on the recording of their follow-up to 2011’s King of Limbs.

Selway said that the band wants to finish the album in what will be “quite a busy autumn coming up” and talked a little about the band’s tendency toward stylistic changes from album to album, citing their “short attention span.”

The drummer also commented on the continued longevity of the group and its loyal fanbase. “Being asked about Radiohead never becomes a tiresome question; the fact that people are still interested, that can only be a wonderful thing.”
